All facilities that are available for rent within our parks system can be viewed on the Harris County Precinct 2 Reservations page. You’ll be able to view costs, availability, and complete an online submission form for the facility of your choice. You can also reach the Reservation Department by calling (713) 274-PARK (7275).
Most Precinct 2 parks are open to the general public without entry fees. Please note, some park services and rentals may require additional fees. For more information on a specific park, click here and select the park of your choice.

Moonwalks are permitted only when renting one of these 3 facilities: Clear Lake Park – Landolt Pavilion, Clear Lake Park – White Top Pavilion, and North Shore Rotary Pavilion. All 3 of these facilities are large and fenced. Any moonwalk or bounce house must be kept behind the fence. An online reservation request can be made by visiting this link.
Please be advised, you must provide a copy of the Certificate of Liability listing Harris County Precinct 2 as an additional certificate holder. This must be obtained from the vendor in which you are renting the moonwalk from and given to your park reservationist four days prior to the event date.
Alcohol is only allowed within certain fenced-in, rented areas with security. You can find which parks allow alcohol (with security) and other amenities available by searching here.
Yes, Precinct 2 accepts reservations for large scale events. Events such as festivals, fundraisers, marathons, and triathlons, will begin the reservation process with the Reservation Query located in each park reservation page. A letter with pertinent event information must be submitted to the Parks Superintendent during the reservation process, requesting approval to host a large event. This letter should be e-mailed to the park supervisor. For more information, call the Reservation Department at (713) 274-PARK (7275).
Generators are not permitted in the parks, unless it is in a fenced-off, rented area and is being used to power a moonwalk.
Security personnel is required for all reservations made at the Clear Lake Park – Landolt Pavilion, Clear Lake Park – White Top Pavilion, North Shore Rotary Pavilion, and any event where alcohol will be served. Events offering alcohol require a two officer minimum. All other events require one deputy for every 100 guests. For more information, you can also complete a Reservation Query for the facility of your choice or by calling the Reservation Department at (713) 274-PARK (7275).
The only pavilions with electrical outlets are: Clear Lake Park – Landolt Pavilion, Clear Lake – White Top Pavilion, Clear Lake Meeting Room, North Shore Rotary Pavilion, and Pep Mueller Meeting Room. The deputy fee is $30 per hour for each officer. A minimum of four hours is required for scheduling. For more information, call the Reservation Department at (713) 274-PARK (7275).
Many of our parks have BBQ pits available to the general public on a first come, first serve basis. To see the list of parks offering this amenity, click here. To see if a BBQ pit is available for your facility rental, check the amenities through our Reservation Query. Please note, the use of BBQ trailers is not permitted at any Precinct 2 park.
Because picnic tables are first come, first serve, the Parks Department does not allow reservations for picnic tables.

Yes, pets are allowed if they are on a leash. Off-leash dog parks are featured at Bay Area Park and Partnership Park.

Fishing is free at Precinct 2 parks with the exception of the Sylvan Beach Pier. The cost is $2 for children (5-12 years) and seniors (60 and over) and $4 for adults. For more information, contact the Sylvan Beach Bait House at (281) 471-5705.

Yes, there are two parks with horse-riding areas: Edna Mae Washington Park and Riley Chambers Park.
