About the Park
Clear Lake Park is a 59 acre park located southeastern Harris County. The south side of the park offers traditional park amenities as well as a boat launch and fishing pier. The North side of the park offers playground equipment, various sports fields and 0.5 mile jogging trail, community center and open air pavilion. There is also an ancient Indian burial ground believed to be ancestors to the Akokisa Indians dating between 600 and 900 A.D. Also discovered was shell median dating back to 1476 B.C. The spray park is open from the first Saturday in April through the last Saturday in October from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
First off it's free! Lots to do here with or without kids. Fed the ducks saw a river otter and watched people jet ski and fish. No swimming but there is a public bathroom with basic amenities.
Really nice park and new playground for the kids along with a new exercise area for the adults .
Excellent venue for family gatherings or just quiet get away
