Precinct 2 Spotlight

Lindy Garner

We are proud to spotlight Purchasing Specialist, Lindy Garner, who went above and beyond to deliver excellent service to the constituents of Precinct 2. This past March, Lindy identified a need to increase accessibility into the Jim Fonteno Annex (JFA) for those with physical disabilities. Lindy proactively submitted a request for ADA-compliant door openers to be installed at the JFA, after seeing constituents struggle when entering and exiting the building.

Disabilities can affect anyone – young, old, rich, and poor. Lindy’s caring spirit and service to the community drove her to help modify the facility to accommodate the changing needs associated with disabilities supporting independence. These modifications can help individuals stay engaged in life and function independently.

We realize we cannot serve the constituents of Precinct 2 alone. Our success is rooted in the loyalty, innovation, and unfaltering dedication of employees like Lindy. We are proud to call her a member of Precinct 2.
