Q&A with Felicia Lawrence, Precinct 2’s Senior Operations Coordinator
1. Describe your role and how it impacts Precinct 2 residents.
I am the Senior Operations Coordinator for Health Services, Transportation, Senior and Meal Programs, and Economic Development. My job is to make sure the programs and events, within each department, run smoothly every day. I enjoy being a part of the process of taking an idea and turning it into something real that residents of Precinct 2 can benefit from. It is also exciting to be part of these programs as they grow and adapt to meet the needs of our community.
2, What do you enjoy most about your job?
What I enjoy most about my job is the amazing team I get to work with every day and the people I interact with along the way! Our team is made up of individuals from all sorts of backgrounds, life stages, and talents. It is incredible when we come together, share ideas, and collaborate to make a real difference in the community.

The Senior Pajama Jam is hands down my favorite event to be a part of because of the seniors! They are such a lively group and seeing them let loose and have a great time absolutely makes my day. I also really enjoy watching our Precinct 2 staff get involved in the fun. It is always such a joyful and memorable event for everyone.
4. What or who inspires you to dedicate your career to serving your community?
My family inspires me the most. They taught me to appreciate the beauty of community and how much of a difference one person can make. Seeing all that is being done and all that is possible for the residents of Precinct 2, fills me with pride and motivates me to keep making an impact.
