Commissioner Adrian Garcia hosts Food and Resource Fairs for Veterans and Furloughed Federal employees

WHO:
In Partnership with the Houston Food Bank Harris County Precinct 2 Commissioner Adrian Garcia will host two more Food Fair for veterans and employees impacted by the Federal Government’s shutdown.

WHAT:
The drive-thru style fairs will provide food and resource guides at two Precinct 2 community centers February 2nd and February 9th. Each family will receive at least 20 pounds of food, which include produce, fruit, non-perishable items and some meat products.

Federal Employees and Veterans are welcomed to attend and present
their Federal I.D. at pick-up.

Supplies will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve Basis.
