Precinct 2 Opens First Fully Accessible Playground in its Parks System
Commissioner Adrian Garcia takes Precinct 2’s inclusivity standards to next level
Harris County, TX — Harris County Precinct 2 Commissioner Adrian Garcia is proud to open the Precinct’s first fully accessible playground to the public! Olson Park is a small park facility located in Pasadena just next to the East Harris County Activity Center, and proudly boasts this new playground amenity.
“With a lifetime career in public service, I’ve been blessed to meet hundreds of people who come from different walks of life, of all ages and abilities,” said Commissioner Garcia. “I’m honored to be in a position to make a difference and be a voice for those who may not have one. So, I’ve made it a commitment as Commissioner to make Precinct 2, the precinct of inclusiveness. I want anyone who visits a Precinct 2 Park to realize that everyone is welcome because I know that diversity is deeper than just one’s ethnicity. I’m very proud of my team for installing the Olson Park playground, and I can’t wait for area families to begin making lifelong and happy memories while enjoying the playground.”
Olson Park is located at 7340 Spencer Hwy, Pasadena, TX, 77505, and is open from dawn to dusk.
