HARRIS COUNTY, TX – December 17th, 2019 – This week Commissioner Adrian GarciaHARRIS COUNTY, TX – December 17th, 2019 – This week Commissioner Adrian Garciaannounced that Harris County and Precinct 2 will receive a $1 million dollar grant from theAmerican Chemistry Council Foundation (ACC) to purchase air quality monitors, more stringentdata analysis and collaboration with industry partners. This is the first time the ACC Foundationhas developed and awarded a local government grant for a community air-monitoring network.

The reconstruction of Kowis Street in East Aldine is intended to enhance the economic, social, and environmental conditions along the corridor between Halls Bayou and Precinct 2’s James Driver Park.
