Donation from Chevron funded the project, rehabilitation done by American Youth Works
Harris County, TX — FRIDAY, June 11th at 10 a.m., Harris County Precinct 2 Commissioner Adrian Garcia will preside over a ribbon cutting ceremony to debut the newly renovated Santa Anna Capture historical site in East Harris County. The project was funded by a generous grant from Chevron. In addition to remarks from Commissioner Garcia, Chevron General Manager Tim Sutherland, Albert Seguin (living relative of Col. Juan Seguin), Beth McCarthy (past president of Daughters of the Republic) and Parc Smith of American Youth Works will all speak.
Media is welcome to cover the event. VERY LIMITED Parking is available on site. Shuttles will be provided starting at 9:15 from John Phelps Annex (101 South Richey St., Pasadena, TX 77506).
