The Riley Chambers Community Center was built in 1977 and dedicated to the memory of Mr. Riley Chambers for his dedicated service to the community. In 2003 the Barrett Station Center was added. This building was named for the community founded by Harrison Barrett. The buildings are nestled on 37.7 beautiful sloping acres of land in southwest Barrett Station.
A Head Start Program is located adjacent to the center.

The Barrett Center is home to a congregate and homebound meal program to serve area senior citizens.
A computer lab is located inside the Riley Chambers Building.
